What we build · White-label

Your build arm for
every client project.

The white-label web development your agency sells but doesn’t want to staff full-time — from a marketing site to a multi-tenant platform, built by senior engineers under your name.

Capacity · Overflow

Overflow Dev Capacity

Win the project first, staff it second. When your pipeline outruns your in-house dev bench, we absorb the overflow so you never turn away client work or miss a deadline.

Build · Web

Websites & Web Apps

Marketing sites, CMS builds, portals, dashboards, and custom web applications — built to your designs, in React and Next.js, ready to hand to your client as your own work.

Build · Product

SaaS & Custom Platforms

Multi-tenant SaaS, custom e-commerce, and complex platforms with auth, billing, and admin tooling — the builds that need a senior engineer, not a template.

Build · Mobile

Mobile Apps

Cross-platform iOS and Android apps in React Native — one codebase, native feel, shipped under your brand for clients who need more than a website.

Feature · Integration

API & Integration Work

Payment gateways, CRMs, government and industry APIs, and the resilient integration plumbing that the design-led agency rarely wants to own. We do.

Engagement · Retained

Maintenance & Feature Work

Pick up an existing codebase — yours or one you inherited — for ongoing fixes, feature development, and the steady client retainer that keeps the relationship alive.

Why a white-label partner

Why not hire, or use
another shop?

i.

vs. Hiring a senior dev

A full-time senior engineer is a six-figure salary, months of hiring, and a fixed cost that sits idle between projects. A white-label partner is senior capacity you turn on only when you win the work — no payroll, no bench, no idle months. You scale dev up and down with your pipeline.

ii.

vs. Juniors or cheap shops

The cheapest build is the one you ship twice. Junior contractors and low-cost shops make week-two architecture decisions that cost you in year-three rework — and the cleanup lands on your agency’s reputation. Every engineer here has 12+ years shipping production software. You hand the work to a senior, every time.

iii.

vs. Subcontracting to another agency

Sub to another agency and you inherit their markup, their juniors, and their incentive to poach your client. We are a studio of engineers, not a competing agency — we don’t do design, branding, or client acquisition. We have no path to your client and no reason to want one. We build; you own the relationship.

Not an agency? You can also work with our senior engineers directly. See the full range of software we build, read about how we work, sprint by sprint, or learn more about the team behind The Yellow Labs.

FAQ

Common questions.

What is white-label software development?

White-label development is when an agency sub-contracts the build to an outside engineering team that works invisibly under the agency’s brand. You win and own the client; we build the software behind the scenes. Your client never knows we exist — every deliverable, commit, and demo is yours to present as your own work. It lets a design, branding, or marketing agency take on builds it doesn’t have the senior dev capacity to staff in-house.

How does a white-label partnership with your studio work?

You scope the work with your client; we build it. We run in roughly two-week sprints: we deliver, you review, and you only pay for that sprint if you are happy with the code. You stay the single point of contact with your client throughout — we can work in a shared channel like an embedded team member, or stay fully behind the scenes and report only to you. No markup, no agency in the middle, no juniors learning on your account.

Will our client know you are involved?

No. White-label means invisible by design. There is no Yellow Labs branding on any deliverable, no direct contact between us and your client, and you remain the single point of contact. The code, repositories, and documentation are yours. We are your quiet build arm — you keep the relationship and the credit.

What is the risk-free trial sprint?

The easiest way to test a new dev partner without risk: hand us one small, self-contained piece of work. We build it in the first sprint, you review the code, and if it is not what you would ship to your client, you owe nothing. It does the job a case study would — you judge us on real code, not a pitch. We accept the risk of a non-paying first sprint; you never accept the risk of paying for work you would not ship.

What can you build for our agency?

The full stack of client work: marketing sites and CMS builds, web applications and portals, custom e-commerce, SaaS platforms, mobile apps (React Native), API and third-party integrations, and ongoing maintenance or feature work on an existing codebase. We work primarily in the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem (React, Next.js, Node.js), React Native for mobile, and Python on the backend — the stacks most agency projects already run on.

How do you price white-label development?

Wholesale senior engineering, billed sprint by sprint with nothing charged upfront. Because there is no platform tax and no agency markup on our side, you can resell our work at your own rate and keep a healthy margin. We quote a fixed sprint or milestone price after a short scope review. We never lock you into a retainer to start.

Can you work with our existing team, codebase, and project manager?

Yes. We slot into how your agency already runs. We can take a Figma file and ship the build, pick up an inherited codebase, or extend a product your own developers started. We work to your project manager, your branching conventions, and your definition of done — as an extension of your team, not a black box you have to manage around.
